Acceptance
By installing, opening, or using Email Archiver, the user agrees to these Terms of Service. If the user does not agree, the user must stop using the app.
App Function
Email Archiver helps users scan old Gmail messages, save local copies, verify archive integrity, read archived email locally, and optionally move source Gmail messages to Trash. Gmail is the active email provider.
License and Trial
The app may provide a limited trial period. A full license may be tied to a Machine ID and verified locally. Users may not forge, modify, share, resell, or bypass the license mechanism without written permission.
If a license is inactive, the app may restrict certain features while still providing read-only access to local archives when possible.
Google Account and Gmail
Users are responsible for the Google accounts they connect, the OAuth permissions they grant, and compliance with Google policies. Users may only archive email from accounts they are authorized to access.
If the user enables Move to Trash, the app may move Gmail messages to Trash after local archive verification succeeds. Users are responsible for reviewing this option before running the process.
Archives, Backups, and Recovery
Email archives are stored in a folder chosen by the user. Users are responsible for backups, storage space, computer security, and the archive folder structure.
For Protected Archive, users must keep the archive key file and the Windows profile used to create the archive. Losing the key file, Windows profile, or computer access may make encrypted archives unreadable.
Prohibited Use
Users may not use Email Archiver to access accounts without permission, violate the law, violate organizational policies, damage third-party services, bypass license controls, or redistribute the app outside the permission granted.
Service Limits and Provider Changes
The app may depend on the Gmail API, Google OAuth, Windows DPAPI, WebView2, and other system components. Changes to third-party policies, APIs, authentication, or operating systems may affect app functionality.
Limitation of Liability
Email Archiver is provided as is to the extent allowed by law. The developer is not responsible for data loss, backup failure, archive damage caused by deleted files, lost Protected Archive keys, Google account changes, or use of the app outside the intended procedure.
Updates
The app and these terms may be updated from time to time. Updates may include security fixes, feature changes, license changes, or adjustments required by third-party providers.
